How much does a session cost?

How much does your current problem cost you in health, wellbeing and money?

Our sessions cost $250 per hour including GST. The first session includes a FREE 30 min consultation. The following sessions are 1 hour each.

We consistently deliver results in a very short space of time. This makes it great value and saves you both time and money. You will not need to spend months or years in therapy hoping for results. Many of our clients say that this is the best investment they’ve ever made for themselves.

How does the FREE 30 minute consultation work?

The first 30 minutes of our first consultation is free of charge and obligation free. We will explain what we can do for you and if you are not satisfied for any reason, we will not charge you and we can end the session there. So there is absolutely no risk to you.

It’s simple. You book a time and we come to you. The sessions will be done at the comfort of your own home. All that is required is a quiet environment with a chair or a lounge. Our hypnotherapy Sydney service comes to you to make your life easier.

What happens in the therapy session? What does it feel like?

We will spend some time getting to know you, and to discuss your problems or any concerns that you may have. We will then build and agree upon a treatment plan. After that, all you will need to do, is to sit back and relax. You will be able to hear the entire session. Each person experiences hypnosis differently. Many of our clients report feeling a deep sense of relaxation, peace and empowerment after the session.

How long does it take to see results?

This is decided on a case by case basis as every person is unique. Most issues can be resolved in 3-6 sessions on average. We work towards long term sustainable change instead of short term patches. Many of our clients see rapid changes and that inspires them to work on other issues in their lives.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state between being awake and asleep. It allows us to be relaxed and focused at the same time. This provides the optimal learning environment for our minds to build new habits and patterns.

Hypnotherapy is therapy delivered in a hypnosis state. Hypnosis itself is not therapeutic, it is what is delivered during this state that makes it effective. We use a variety of scientifically and clinically proven methods to achieve the best results. It has been demonstrated that adding hypnosis can be up to 90% more effective than just applying therapy alone.

What is Mindfulness? How does it relate to Hypnotherapy?

Mindfulness is a state of mind achieved by focusing awareness on the present moment, accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, sensations without judgement. Hypnotherapy uses the same principles but is more directed and goal oriented. We have found that both methods are highly effective in their own right. We use a unique combination of mindfulness practices in conjunction with hypnotherapy to achieve the most effective results.

How effective is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a very effective and safe form of therapy. The outcomes also depend on the skill of the clinician and the participation of the client. While most forms of therapy struggle to achieve over 30% effectiveness, we operate at over 95% effectiveness with all our clients.

In one of the most comprehensive psychotherapy studies, hypnotherapy performed much better than the other forms of treatments.

Here are the statistics:

Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery after 600 sessions

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy: 72% recovery after 22 sessions

Hypnotherapy: 93% recovery after 6 sessions

Is Hypnotherapy safe? Will I lose control or do things that I do not agree to?

It is completely safe and natural to be in a state of hypnosis. In fact, we are in a state of light hypnosis many times a day. It can happen when we drive on a familiar route or get really absorbed in a movie or a book.

Despite the popular belief, hypnosis actually allows you to gain control and focus. You will be focused and relaxed while being able to hear and respond any time you choose. You will be in full control and it is not possible for anyone to make you do things that you do not personally agree to.

Who are some famous people who have used hypnotherapy?

Albert Einstein (Physicist) – Creativity and problem solving
Adele (Singer) – Quit smoking
Nikola Tesla (Inventor and Engineer) – Creative and inventive thinking
Thomas Edison (Inventor) – Inventive thinking
Sir Winston Churchill (Prime Minister) – Sleep control
Wolfgang Mozart (Composer – Musician) – Creativity
Ayrton Senna (Race car driver) – Mental focus
Andre Agassi (Tennis player) – Sports performance and focus
Kevin Costner (Actor) – Overcome seasickness
Ellen DeGeneres (TV host) – Quit smoking
Geri Halliwell (Singer – Songwriter) – Weight loss
Julia Roberts (Actress) – Stuttering

Why do people on stage hypnosis shows do silly things?

Stage hypnosis is an entertainment performance first and foremost. The people who come on stage are carefully selected based on their compliance and willingness to entertain. If they do not follow the performer’s instructions, they are often sent off stage immediately so it creates social pressure to comply. For some participants, it’s a good opportunity for them to act a bit silly without having to feel self conscious.

Stage hypnotists often whisper to their subjects to “play along”. Some shows even use stooges for dramatic effect. The combination of feeling more relaxed, willing compliance and having social expectations to perform creates the illusion that people are under control, when in fact they are not. No one can control another person without their full participation and compliance.

What are my responsibilities as a client?

To keep an open mind, be willing to change and committed to the treatment process. You might also receive some simple tasks such as to listen to a recording at home. Hypnotherapy is a two way street so your active participation is key to getting the results you desire.

Can I be hypnotised?

Contrary to the popular belief, hypnosis has nothing to do with willpower or being weak-minded. We all experience a light form of hypnosis regularly in daily life. From our experience, as long as you are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, it is possible to be hypnotised if you keep an open mind.

Can the sessions be in other languages?

We occasionally perform hypnotherapy in Chinese (Cantonese). This is by request only so please send us a message in the form below to confirm this.
